Experts in Management Programming and Control are among the most in-demand professionals in the labour market thanks to the high degree of subject specialisation, complexity of development processes (analytical accounting, budgeting, reporting, etc.) and specific analysis techniques (variance, operational and strategic corrections, etc.). For this reason Meliusform, boasting over twenty years of experience in the area of Management Control Master's courses, has continuously invested in the innovation of educational contents and growth of expertise in the faculty, capable of bringing into the classroom the lessons learned from successful best practices in domestic and overseas companies.

This constantly evolving discipline has required continuous syllabus modifications, including practical notes on advanced management control tools (activity-based costing and activity-based management, strategic maps, balanced scorecard, execution premium). Goals

The Master in Controlling sets out to offer a complete training path, as it includes planning and control processes, from the final analysis of the Financial Statements to advanced and strategic control systems and models. The Master in Management Control also stands out for its training path that creates a balanced and quality combination of scientific and practical contents. It is indeed the only course on the market that can boast the inclusion throughout the duration of the course of a cycle of Advanced Excel® exercises that leads, step by step, to the construction of a “Business analysis and management model” in Excel®, which can be applied in operational and professional ambits outside the classroom (MELIUSform's unique and exclusive method).

This particular method allows participants on the Master's course to supplement the traditional knowledge of economic and financial analysis with more specialised programming and control tools, so that in their professions they can play a more active role in processes to improve the strategies and organisation of businesses and offer specialist support skills for managerial decision-making and business consultancy.

Exercises, teaching practice, tutorials on the use of Excel
The Master in Controlling offers participants a wealth of knowledge and information deriving from the managerial experience of its teachers. The Master's course stands out for its combination of traditional classroom lessons and innovative learning models, such as:
A cycle of Advanced Excel® exercises

In this Master's course a cycle of tutorials has been developed for use on a PC, with the use of advanced functions of the Excel® spreadsheet. At the end of each exercise the participant will receive:
- the management analysis model developed in the classroom for the reference topic (budget analysis, business plan, treasury management, etc.)
- applications (software packages developed by the Meliusform research laboratory) that automatically run all the exercise phases (software for budget analysis, software for statistical forecasting of sales, software for drafting the business plan, etc.)
- solutions, with teacher comments and appraisals;
which together will form a modular and integrated system of business analysis and management, with operational and professional applicability outside the classroom (using the unique and exclusive MELIUSform method).
Tutorial on the use di Excel^®

To bridge any knowledge gaps regarding the use of the main functions of Excel® and meet the requirements set out in clause G) of the enrolment form, MELIUSform makes 7 videos available to enrolled participants, with the following programme:
1. Excel functions: general features; syntax and topics.
2. Aggregation and summary functions: SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, SUMPRODUCT.
3. Logic functions: SE, O, E.
4. Discriminant functions: SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIF.
5. Search functions: HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP
6. Date functions: EOMONTH, WEEKDAY
7. Auxiliary functions: concatenation, drop-down lists, goal seek.
In support of each tutorial, an Excel® file will also be given, showing content in two forms (blank, to be filled in, and already compiled.

If students miss one or more lessons of the Finance and Control Master's course, they can choose from the following options:

Certificate of attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued upon the conclusion of the Master's course in a final handout ceremony.

To receive this certificate the student must:
- be up-to-date with administrative requirements;
- have attended at least 80% of syllabus lessons, with the chance to re-watch online any missed lessons (see the previous option 'Re-watch Lessons and further E-Learning');
- have completed at least 70% of tests for teachers' assessments (at the end of each lesson day) via the appropriate Business School web app or a paper-based system.
A certificate of attendance will also be issued to the participants of individual modules, with the title of the relevant specialisation course attended.

Per le Aziende o gli Enti Pubblici che desiderano iscrivere i propri dipendenti al Master o per amici o colleghi che effettuano iscrizione allo stesso Master, o a Master differenti del catalogo formativo MELIUSform, sono previste le seguenti agevolazioni esclusive sulle quote di iscrizione:

Master Finanza accreditato Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili

The Italian Chartered Accountants National Council (“CNDCEC”), having received the favourable opinion of the Ministry of Justice, has approved the inclusion of MELIUSFORM Business School in the list of Associations entered in the Register and of other subjects authorised to organise “continuing vocational training” (CVT), established pursuant to art. 11, para. 1, of the CVT Regulation. MELIUSFORM is thus authorised to organise classroom training activities at a national level for the benefit of members entered in the Register of Chartered Accountants. This authorisation is valid until 31 December 2022 (unless revoked), marking the conclusion of the current three-year training period.
